Removing the http2 option in the listen setting of nginx mitigate the issue Edit: this happens also when downloading the same file via backend web server without nextcloud in the middle, so this is not a nextcloud bug. This persists with NC12 as well as on Master. I opened another issue for this, as the two are unrelated, so please comment here: I don't think it's a NC bug to be honest. I have the same problem downloading the same file via nginx directly by placing it inside the document root and downloading it via URL.
This is an nginx bug with http2 most likely. FYI I tried with nginx 1. Well, good to have this feedback. I will try with nginx 1.
Is there a newer version of nginx available fixing this? I might have the same problem here, but needs more investigation This is happening with windows edge and windows 10 git desktop as well.
Zip file says it finishes but does not with edge. Git Desktop will not clone a large repository such as unrealengine release branch. Just finished fighting 2 days against this issue, in my case the larger CSF DNSBL blocklist caused a broken connection because they probably could not keep up. Towards the bottom of the window, click on the "Reset" button. Check "Delete personal settings," and click "Reset. Malware may disrupt your Internet connection if your computer becomes infected, so try installing and running anti-virus software to check for infections.
If your connection is completely cut off, you may need to download the software from a working PC and transfer it to the potentially infected computer with removable media, such as a CD, DVD, or flash drive.
After the scan, restart your computer and test the connection by opening up your Web browser. Enterprise solution For mission-critical use. BTW, for me the problem did occur when I downloaded files from a server to a client, e. But I agree, this is a serious problem. I subscribed to the issue. My users have a lot of files to sync, and the synchronisation is frequently unstable, including a scenario which is the same as described here. At our company we had such cases, too. Searching for the reasons we found that those timeouts were buffer overflows on the windows machine.
Something seemed to make processing of the data slow, especially with bigger archives. Windows Defender already was disabled, so we disabled our malware protection on a test machine, too. Still timeouts with buffer overflows on the client. I have the same problem. For testing purpose I created a new user "testuser" in my NC instance and let them sync the userfiles to my local Win10 VM.
No problem. Then I shared a folder "Videos" to this testuser. It was synced without any problem, about Files with total 44 GB. It starts reading the content of the folder on the server, searched through subdirectories, and then I get "Connection aborted" messages back, everytime with different folders. It must have something to do when a huge amount of files in lots of subfolders must be synced. Can anyone confirm that? This bug report did not receive an update in the last 4 weeks. Please take a look again and update the issue with new details, otherwise the issue will be automatically closed in 2 weeks.
Thank you! I now also checked with Client 3. When triying to sync huge folders It will never complete, but will get several timeouts. It will only work with smaller amount of files. Then I found this bug report here some months ago, undstood that Nextcloud must have an issue here and had some hope that it will be fixed in future releases.
Today I had this issue on my private setup.
